Izzo's Illegal Burrito Coming Soon to Bossier City

Bossier City, LA. February 15, 2012 -- Owners of Izzo’s Illegal Burrito, Gary Kovacs and Ozzie Fernandez, are proud to announce that Izzo’s Illegal Burrito will be opening a new franchise location in Bossier City. The fast-casual Mexican eatery will be located at 2501 Beene Boulevard in the Live Oak Village Shopping Center. Izzo’s is excited to have Somex Restaurants, LLC on board as franchisees. Partners in Somex Restaurants, LLC include Kyle Brechtel, Gary Solomon and local Shreveport businessman Barry Busada. "We are extremely excited to bring a fantastic concept like Izzo's to Bossier City. I think we will be a great addition to Bossier City’s growth, and we plan to build on this momentum with additional stores in the near future," says franchisee Brechtel. Izzo’s, based in Baton Rouge, opened its first location in 2001 at the south gates of LSU and has expanded to nine other locations including Baton Rouge, Metairie, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Covington and Birmingham, AL. The tenth location is opening soon in Harvey, LA. Plans are in the works for expansion into other Louisiana markets and neighboring states. The new location in Bossier City is planning to open Summer 2012. Grand Opening date is to be announced; look for other announcements and updates soon!
